What began as a small photography business has grown into teams of photographers bringing a different kind of school picture day to schools in Central Florida and Dallas, Texas.
And while our team is getting bigger, the way we approach school photography isn't changing.
Growing Without Losing What Makes Us Different
Growth is exciting, but we've been very intentional about how Those Photo Ladies grows.
We don't simply hand someone a camera and send them to a school.
Our photographers are trained in the Those Photo Ladies approach to school photography, including posing, lighting, working efficiently with classrooms, interacting with young children, and most importantly, getting genuine expressions without making picture day feel stressful.
Every photographer represents the same experience we want schools and families to expect from us.
Our Central Florida School Photography Team
Central Florida is home base for Those Photo Ladies.
Based on Florida's Space Coast in Brevard County, our Central Florida team photographs schools throughout communities including Merritt Island, Viera, Melbourne, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, Titusville, and the greater Central Florida and Orlando area.
Our team works with preschools, daycares, private schools, charter and choice schools, elementary schools, and specialized educational programs.
As we've added more schools, we've also added and trained photographers who understand that photographing children requires much more than knowing how to operate a camera. We have Arielle and Maui photography and Ashlynn and Kati helping as photo day assistants.
It requires patience, flexibility, a little silliness, and the ability to figure out a tiny human very quickly.
Luckily, we're pretty good at that.
Our Dallas School Photography Team
Texas is also an important part of the Those Photo Ladies story.
We have continued to serve schools throughout the Dallas and Dallas-Fort Worth area, and our growing Dallas photography team allows us to provide the same school picture experience to even more Texas schools.
Our Dallas photographers follow the same systems, training, photography standards, and kid-first approach as our Florida team. We have Nadia and Biannca photographing and Scout as our photo day assistant.
Whether a student walks into our photo station in Central Florida or Dallas, we want families to recognize the finished photographs as Those Photo Ladies.
What Our Teams Are Trained to Do
Beautiful photographs matter.
But our training goes beyond camera settings and lighting.
Our photographers learn how to work with the shy preschooler who doesn't want to sit down.
The child who gives us the world's most enthusiastic CHEESE face.
The student who needs extra time.
The toddler who absolutely does not care that today is picture day.
And the older student who thinks smiling for a school picture is deeply uncool.
Every child is different.
Our job is to meet them where they are and create the best portrait we can in the short time we have together.

As Those Photo Ladies continues to grow in Central Florida and Dallas-Fort Worth, our goal isn't to become the biggest school photography company.
We want to be the company schools recommend because their picture day runs smoothly, their parents are excited about the photographs, and their students are treated well.
