Especially during the preschool and elementary years, kids can look completely different from one school year to the next.
The toddler who wouldn't leave their teacher's side becomes the preschooler proudly walking up to our camera alone. The kindergartener with the slightly crooked smile becomes a confident second grader. Teeth disappear. Hair gets longer. Personalities get bigger.
