We are so excited to photograph your kids at Great Leaps! You MUST pre-register for photos and registering closes the day before photo day. Choose the first button on this page or HERE to do so. If you have more than one kid at the school, we will photograph them together and separately. Check out how to prepare and note that the background color will be a light brown, pecan color. If you dress your student in fall colors, your photos will definitely have a fall vibe.

We believe that a school portrait doesn't necessarily have to be your child sitting and looking at the camera. So our school photos might be different than what you've experienced before. We reflect the student's attitude when working with them, using quiet voices if they are shy or being really excited if they want to show off something. We hope that you love your photos and that what you see is a refreshing new take on school photos!

How to Prepare

Photos will be taken inside with a seamless light brown background. Check out below for examples as well as on the flyer. YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER for photos. CLICK HERE TO DO SO!! You have to do this before 01/16 (the day before photo day).

Make sure that outfits are clean and freshly ironed. Best to iron the day before and set aside so you’re not stressed the day of.

The best pro tip for choosing outfit colors is to think of where you want your photos to live. Coordinate outfit colors to display your photo products seamlessly in that space. Please note that a full-body photo is not always guaranteed but plan accordingly with the outfit choice.

You can’t go wrong with neutral colors with pops of blush, light blues, light greens or dark greys.

You should set up a haircut appointment no less than one week prior to photo day.

And just remind your kids that this will be fun, fast and easy! Just reassure them that you want to see their best smile and to relax! Let us do the rest!

What to Expect

We spend at least 1 minute with each student to give multiple posing options and make your kids feel comfortable with us.

Instead of doing cheesy green screen backgrounds, we do one background and give multiple options for photos. Depending on how cooperative your student is, you can expect a minimum of three different poses. Each pose is accompanied by our in-house custom black and white filter. That makes a great choice if you decide you don’t like our background color or what your student is wearing.

There is easy online viewing and ordering! Within 7-days you can expect an email and text with a link directing you straight to your photos. You have a couple of days to use a pre-loaded coupon and then you have about 10-days to choose the free shipping option. All the free shipping orders will be ordered together and shipped to the school for pick-up. If you need your photos before THREE WEEKS, you should choose “SHIP TO HOME” for a fee of $6. This allows you to skip the line and get your photos to your home.

How to Order

Viewing and ordering take place online!

You will receive an email and text with viewing and ordering directions.

Be on the look out at the school that photos are ready just in case your miss the email or text. You can always contact us and let us know that the school is telling you photos are ready but you haven’t gotten your link yet.

There will be 10-days ordering period for FREE shipping to school or an option to ship to your home. All orders that choose the FREE SHIPPING option will be queued in the system for 10-days. The orders will be delivered to the school and sent home. There is also an option to bypass the queue and ship directly to your home.
